Jim brings years of backcountry and clinical experience to TLC. His passion for youth and Jesus Christ culminate in his ability to connect with teens and families. He is a patient, passionate friend and mentor who is still walking and leading others toward Christian maturity and greater faith. Jim has endless stories that make campfires an "historical and educational" experience for all! Jim has been a tireless advocate of Tree of Life, which first came to life in his mind years ago as he was cutting firewood. He was struck that while he was delivering dead wood to supply heat/warmth for his home, God challenged him to begin a ministry that would have everlasting results... And so Tree of Life Christian Wilderness Expeditions was begun. Jim supports each family by providing the clinical environment, both in the field and back at home, ensuring that while your teen is being challenged toward growth that issues in the home are also being looked at with an eye toward next steps. "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
